If you need to make a claim for damage to your bike that’s repairable, we’ll either arrange to repair it or we’ll pay you the cost of the repairs once they’re determined by our assessor.
If your motorcycle is damaged and it’s not economic to repair it, we’ll either pay you the market value up to the sum you insured the motorcycle for, or, if the damage occurred within 12 months of you purchasing the motorcyle new, we may replace the motorcycle as long as the same model and specification is available.
Echelon motorcycle cover provides for lump sum payments in the event of your death or permanent disablement in a motor vehicle accident while driving your bike.
We’ll also pay up to $500 towards the cost of treatment for injuries you or your family receive in an accident that’s covered by your policy.
Echelon motorcycle cover provides up to $20,000,000 for your personal liability and legal costs if you accidentally damage someone else’s property or up to $1,000,000 if you accidentally injure someone while you’re riding your motorcycle.
The wide range of benefits provided by Echelon cover also includes transport, towing and road clearing costs after an accident, automatic cover for 30 days from date of purchase for any replacement motorcycle and up to $1000 cover if your keys or locks need to be replaced.
